 sometimes when he pulls preshots like this I wish there was an emoji where hair is being pulled out or hair on fire LOL

Prepared for a big drop (insert paratrooper jumping out of plane emoji here)

Nooooooo!

I actually don't treat Mr Kitty. I treat the dog, and so far that's worked for us (knock on wood).

I mostly see Revolution or Advantage II (a lot are resistant to Frontline, I won't touch collars with a 100 ft pole). Recently I'm seeing Cheristin as well but I know nothing about it other than people like it.

Katherine had a whole thing let me see if I can find it....

Probably start there and go about 3 threads back to see everything everybody discussed.

She ended up getting an exterminator for the house, but used Advantage II on the cats.

It did remind me we had one infestation, but the fleas turned out to be resistant to whatever I used that year...so it was a lot of vacuuming and combing and baths (and the apartment management treating the lawns and building hallways).

So advantage 2 is a top spot I assumed it would be a no go since insulin is given somewhat close to site. I hate using it as well. I have a flea trap I need to break out and plug back in. When we had them two years ago it was treating yard using the flea trap and I did spray the dark spaces cause they can apparently hibernate in carpet for years.

We have had a ton of rain. Just worked in yard all day Sunday. I suspect one of us brought one in on our shoes or socks and that wa the end of it....ugh!!

I give Furball her insulin in her side. I use Revolution. Advantage II quit working for me a couple of years ago and I got fleas really bad. Unfortunately you have to have a prescription for Revolution. I hope you don't get fleas. I used Raid flea spray around the house to finally get rid of them. I just did it room by room and kept the cats out of each room.

I use Advantage II because it is safe. Even with flea loaded tiny foster kittens I can use two drops of Advantage II on them. It always works for me, but then I don't often have a flea problem so it's very intermittent that we use it at all (in other words, I don't think any fleas around us have had a chance to become resistant to it.) Always apply it to the base of the skull and not so much between the shoulder blades.... it's also better that way because there's no chance of them being able to lick it off.

That is awesome advice about base of skill I always thought shoulder blades was dumb as cats are contortionists LOL
