9/3 Herman amps 232 +2 310 +4 184 +6 189 +8 247 +10 171 pmps 254 increased

Hmmmm back in pink. Are these maybe mini-bounces? I will get a +3.5 and if still high I will head out and make the most of this being a Saturday!

I read and re-read the TR protocol and I am still confused about when to increase, all I know is I am told I hold doses too long. Depending on what Herman does today (although looks like we are bouncing and a deep dive to green seems unlikely) should I be increasing tonight to 2.5units per TR protocol?

Yes, he is not new to green, so if you don't see green on a dose, you don't want to hold it for longer than 6 to 8 cycles.

Tagging @tiffmaxee for her advice on dosing.
Thanks… at +4 he dropped to 184 even with frequent snacks. Now he is working on a hairball after scarf n barfing his +3.5 snack so can’t feed him again yet…..so plans to go out are thwarted. He can make it up to me with a lovely green day after he gets rid of hairball.
Speaking of which does anyone have any great hairball solutions? Being a long hair he’s always had hairball problems but perhaps slightly worse now probably due to overcoming his tail which we think is likely stress related.

I've read something here on egg yolk powder being good for hairballs. Just search the forum for "hairballs egg yolk" and you will get a bunch of posts.

I’ve seen quail eggs various places (grocery and pet stores). Worth a try! I’m betting my dog would also like to partake. One of the tiki cat after dark recipes comes with the cutest little halved quail eggs on top, unfortunately that variety seems to be too high carb (which I can’t still figure out why).

His little blips up then down always surprise me. They don’t seem to be food related because he essentially snacks on small amounts every hour or two throughout daytime. Nighttime less often.

Increased to 2.5 units. Overall pretty happy that we had 24 hours under 300 (aside from a pesky 310 blip ) and mostly under 250 in that period as well. Very similar 24 hours was had a couple days prior. we are still a ways from TR and those healing greens but staying under 300 has been hard to achieve for us so I must acknowledge it! Hope I haven’t jinxed anything.

I'm glad you increased. We need to get Herman to not bounce so much. I've given EYL from Fur Life, but I can't imagine cooking them for 10 hours. Good luck sourcing some. :)

I read it….I don’t know if I can handle the oven on for 10 hours in this heat! Maybe I’m just being lazy lol

I wouldn’t either. The heat is really getting to me too. I wonder why a little cooked egg yoke would not work. It’s supposedly only 77 in my place but feels like 85.

I might try cooked if he won’t eat the raw. And yes, not sure where you are but here near Toronto it’s way WAY too hot for me!
