81 @ +4.5 Yes… keeping track of food. Trying to decide what to do now (he’s sleeping). Give 2%fancy feast, or 6% purina dm pate, or something higher? Or wait half hour and assess? I want him to surf but I also am afraid of kicking him out of greens. With his neuropathy getting slowly worse I know I need to fight my fear of hypo and keep him in healing greens as long as possible.

Fed tsp gravy at +5.5….wondering if I should wait half hour or 15 minutes….trying to prevent him getting too grumpy to test. Will monitor and aim to test at +6 (half hour).

I think I screwed up in that I gave him nothing at +6 since he had risen and was sleeping. I checked at +6.5 and we were at 101 so again I gave nothing as was rising (still sleeping). Now it +7 and he’s at 72. Just fed tsp 15%.

(Also I will add that +6.5 reading to ss in a few min, need to do manually so it takes me a minute to do the calculations)

Nice surfing Herman :D
I would lay off the higher % carb this late in the cycle like Bhooma said in post #10 and keep him coasting with the 6%.

Thanks! No aggression whatsoever…maybe. Cause he slept the entire time. Even snacks were eaten from bed off a spoon with barely an open eye. o_O:p:D Still sleeping.

Maybe it’s horror? Needles, pokeies and devices beeping, oh my. My dog Stanley, while a chubby boy, surprisingly isn’t very food oriented..and does not like cat food. Thank god. Otherwise the multiple “in green pokies with teaspoons of food” administered while I am on my hands and knees on the floor next to Herman’s bed would prove tricky. Stanley just glares from across the room.
