It's 3:30 pm I just fed him a raw food snack after getting his BG of 89.

When his numbers are below 100, it makes me nervous. What do I need to do??

Should Scarlette reduce and the new dose would be 2.75 units since her +6 was 89
following SLGS ?

Okay Scarlette, I hope you are okay and Fluffy is okay. It’s past what I thought was your shot time. I don’t see anything on Fluffy’s spreadsheet for tonight yet. Please do reduce to 2.75 units. If Fluffy goes green, please give him a snack and retest. The type of snack would depend on the number and how close it is to 50. LC for higher end greens and medium carb for lower end greens and high carb if at or very near 50. I am just trying to give some general guidelines since you are not here now and I may not be here later.

Yes! And his BG was "HI"...I think he got into the hi-carb dry I feed the other cats....I try to be careful but I’ve been battling a 2 day bout of stomach flu or something...not covid tho, I tested---negative for covid.
That said, Do I still need to reduce his shot to 2.75U's ???

Yes. You reduce regardless of that number. It’s based on the nadir.
