8/12 Max AMPS 164 +3 320 + 6 330 PMPS 418

We are back from the vets office. Max hasn’t felt good today. I don’t know if he’s bouncing or something else like pancreatitis is going on. We didn’t get a chance to see the vet. The vet tech came and took him from the car and he was seen by a vet tech for his BP check which was 190. I was told to continue the amlodipine ordered. They gave him his rabies vaccine today. I sure hope he gets to feeling better soon. He’s just laying on my bed, not interested in anything going on right now. I suppose I will have to put a call in to speak with the vet about his lymphocytes being low on his differential the other day since I couldn’t see her today.

Poor baby :(. Feel better Max. I'm sure he'll be playing soccer at 3am again in no time. He's been through a lot this past week, new meds, BG dive, vet visits, and the vaccine. He needs to rest and so do you:bighug:.

Yes, he has been through a lot. I wouldn’t even complain if he got up tonight to play soccer. Matter of fact, I will let him have his green fuzzy ball back. Hopefully he will get up to eat his dinner in about 30 mins when his insulin is due. I hope Cleo feels better too. It’s hard to see them feeling unwell.
 
Max went last week for his visit to the vet and was scheduled to get labs, exam and rabies vaccine. They found him to have high BP and was started on med. The vet told me that he could come back in a week for repeat BP and get the rabies vaccine then (which was today). I mentioned earlier today that Max got the rabies vaccine today as well as a BP check. I had to stay in the car. When they brought him back to me they gave me his rabies tag and certificate. So, when I get home I had another rabies tag and certificate in the mail from last week! I hope they have not given my cat two rabies vaccines. They are different dates and different tag numbers. They were closed by the time I saw the mail. This is very unsettling to me right now.
 
I would guess it was a clerical error in the vet's office? I hope I am right and it is simply a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand did? But I get how stressed you must be. I hope they are open Saturdays? :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: And hoping Max will feel better, poor guy:bighug::bighug:

(P.S. I am also guessing most of us on this forum are in that Type A category, so you are not alone!:bighug:)

I hope it was a clerical error too but lately they have made quite a few mistakes. I’m going to call in the morning and find out what is going on. Max is acting like he’s feeling a little bit better right now. Thanks Ruth.:)
