Hello,

I posted the other day and didnt hear back from anyone. Can someone look at my sheet and share their thoughts on what is going on? He had a really good week when on the 1.25 lantus dose (7/31 - 8/3) and then it looks like he bounced? and then just flat high numbers after so I increased his dose to 1.5 (after one week of 1.25). Then more high flat numbers, and then the last three days have been really weird. During the day cycle, his numbers go lower and lower and lower (dropping 150-200ish points)... and then during the PM cycle, the total opposite, he rises and just keeps rising.. Today he is just looking high and flat (unless he drops more at +7 or +8 like the other day).

Is this new dose wonkiness? Is this bouncing? Is this a sign that his dose is too high?

I'm not sure what to think. I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. I really want him back on those blues and greens he had when on 1.25 units. He was doing so well. Then a bounce happened and after a few days his numbers continued to stay higher than it did so we raised his dose to 1.5. But I haven't seen anything good so far with this dose. Am I missing something? I don't want to reduce his dose if that'll mess things up but I'm at a loss with whats happening. Do I continue to hold the 1.5 dose?

Thanks so much.

Yes, it does look like a bounce. Is he still getting the Young Again? If so, by default your dosing method is SLGS (will help if you add that to your signature and spreadsheet). Essentially, that means you reduce by 0.25U if he goes under 90, and you hold a dose for a full week before re-evaluating.

If no dry food whatsoever, then you can follow TR. Reductions there are anytime below 50, and you can increase a little more quickly (how quickly depends on nadir). You certainly test enough to follow this method.

Thank you. Yes he has always been on YA. Are you saying I shouldn't of upped his dose after he was in the blues and greens (and then bounced, and then remained in the purple/reds). Should I go back to 1.25 dose? ah, I see I have two seperate spreadsheets. I'll try to get that fixed and post the right one right away.

@ssaraiex26
About your spreadsheet did you set up our spreadsheet , the one we use?
Yours does not look like the one we use so when members tap on it it disappears quickly
and the one that says Milo's spreadsheet by Sophia S.xlsm has nothing there
I'll give you the link ,

I know there's some SS troubles, but from what I remember the current dose is ok, not taking him too low. I think I remember seeing a 93 one night, technically you would have held for at least 5-7 days after that (and I think you did for a few days?).

So for now keep your current dose, don't go back down unless he drops below 90.
