8/8 Maus AMP/108, +4/54, PMP/142, +3/64, +4/59, DGGR?

Vet called & reported a number of 24 with a normal reading of 8-26. She caught me at a bad moment, but it looks like they did a DGGR test and not the fpli. Normal is good, does the difference in test mean enough that I should go elsewhere & get the fpli? She's going to email results when internet comes back.

She's now going in the direction of IBD, but I've already done a novel protein and limited ingredients & we have another flare up. Suggested Hills z/d & RC Ultamino but carbs are way too high.

She went from looking okay this morning to not great at all by mid-day. I was able to pill today so cerenia is in her system. She's not doing well & I'm at a loss for what to do next. QoL is a must & she hasn't felt well for a very long time. In the past year, even when she's been feeling good, she hasn't been great. The last I remember her attempting at play was over a year ago before her big 'sister' passed in Feb '21. We went out to the garden for a bit today & she nibbled her catmint and rolled in the clover but after a few minutes went for a low, shaded bush to curl up under. I let her sleep for a bit then brought her in where I can keep an eye on her. I feel so bad, just want her to feel normal for a bit but it seems out of reach.

You're doing such a great job managing Maus, my heart goes out to you, I so get how much you want for her to be feeling young again. Maus is very fortunate to have you on her side. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thank you for the kind words :bighug:
I feel like I can do the diabetes, but what the heck else is going on, what started this mess and can I fix it, or is it just a matter of masking symptoms and what kind of life is that?

Tagging @tiffmaxee our expert on pancreatitis.

I think @Jessica A and @Marina & Chico have experience with IBD.

Quite the bp mood swings.

She's more relaxed, stretched out, but rather spacey, eyes half open - not responsive when I talk to her, I cheked for breathing ;). Seems fine but very chill once I get her attention - if I didn't know better, I'd say she was stoned :). Cerenia do that?

Google says yes, but rare. less than one in fifty cats experience a sort of 'sleepiness' as a side effect
