So irritated with myself. I did a fur shot ..well..skin shot since she doesn’t have any fur. Literally got half of it all over her. UURRGGGGG. i feel like I’ll never get this down!! I don’t know why it feels like I’m completely new again. U-100s feel so different going in than u40s that I’m used to. I’m worried I messed up any reliable numbers and it’s already a battle every time because she doesn’t want to eat her food. Please tell me I’m not the worst mom ever….

do I still monitor and check BG into the night? Or is 1 check before bed enough?

First of all you are not an awful fur mom. I think you are nervous about switching. Lantus is much more gentle than Vetsulin though so there’s nothing to fear and we are here to help you get used to how it works. So take some deep breaths and get some sleep. Just get a before bed test and sall it a night.

Thank you, that makes me feel better. I will get a test now at +2 and let her rest. Her poor ears are so bruised!
