I bought some tiki after dark and realized they aren’t on Dr Lisa’s chart…so I searched the forum and came up with some conflicting posts on their carb content. I foolishly assumed they were 0 and would make a good late afternoon snack on his high flat days when he is typically quite hungry…..Herman loves the “gross” bits. But….now I’m not sure about their carb content.
and…..Now I can’t find the post talking about it’s carb content but I had screenshot the chart…though I can’t verify it’s accuracy…I’ll post below.

Does anyone feed Tiki After Dark and be able to confirm the carb content?

Hi Amy, Here is a link to a food chart updated as of May 2022, posted by experienced members, and developed and maintained for CKD kitties.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1aqmnoTbHkDckpbds_4CSn9wi-dBAMJp-
It is wonderful because it includes a specific list called "Diabetic CKD Foods (Low Carbs, Low-moderate Phosphorus) Updated, May 22, 2022".
Let me know if you need help accessing the link of the specific page i'm referencing.

ETA - Tiki After Dark is on the list

This one? It's a very up to date list. The one list if for diabetic cats with CKD, but there are lots of other lists.

The Tiki Cat After Dark foods are low carb, but they are not low phosphorus -- at least not the ones I was feeding -- had to give them up.
Yep that's the one! The list for diabetic kitties is a low to moderate phosphorus. I think there's a couple of Tiki After Dark on there.

Yes. I think there are a few in the moderate phosphorus category. Darcy liked the ones with the little quail eggs on top and they weren't too great on phosphorus (maybe the egg yolk) and there was another one he liked that I had to stop feeding... but not all are like that. It kind of depends on your target for phosphorus (and if you just choose to add binders to you cat's food instead.)

Agreed. I think that @Amy & Herman was looking for carb %. That link you've provided is fantastic in that it lists the ME basis for protein, fat and carbs plus the added bonus of DMB values for phosphorus, sodium etc. I ❤️ you for posting it and then I saved it for ease of reference.
