Yesterday

We switched George's food today because he is also in kidney failure so switched to a low phosphorus food. New food is Weruva Paw Licken Chicken. Switched at AMPS.

So.. it’s supposed to be super low carb, but his numbers skyrocketed! Pics of the carbs and phos below.

We also upped Lantus from 6.5 to 7. So maybe it’s NDW? Idk. Gave him a lil extra R today and he’s still super high.

Oh! We also added Aluminum Hydroxide to his food as a phosphate binder today. So 3 changed today.

Any thoughts on what the heck?

NDW typically affects cycle 2 or 3 after an increase. This is the 6th cycle after that 185. Some cats go high before they break a bounce. Maybe this is him doing that.
