I'm wondering if EZComplete has something to do with this situation, at least with Eddie and then perhaps exacerbating Blue's constipation? I honestly did the mix according to the package and gave them like two tsp of the raw mixed with their regular food at meals and not at every meal. The green lipped mussel powder???
 
So Eddie pooped today, this is good! I wonder if he pooped upon use of the laxative? What did you give him? I wonder if it could have acted that quickly.

(My girl K.C. gets 1/8 t. Miralax every other day per my vet. I don't use EZ complete, but she gets raw food in 3 of her mini meals and had a tendency to constipation. )

I had given Eddie some RestoraLax yesterday and he's had a very small poop. I'm hoping to see one more tonight. That will make me relax. What raw food do you give K.C.?
 
EZComplete should not cause constipation. Unless it's the GLM doing it. EZ uses eggshell calcium. Some other raws use ground bone, which can cause constipation. Raw fed cats both have smaller and less frequent poops. Less "junk" in the food to be processed out. Take a look at this link on Catinfo, including the comparative pictures.

Hopefully you are giving Eddie 1/4 tsp or less of the Restoralax?

Yes, a little Restoralax this morning and a few drops of olive oil at dinner.
The reason I got the EZComplete was that it didn't use ground bone, which makes for high phosphorus.
I'm hoping for one more kitty box visit before bed...
 
They will also poop less frequently. I use a pinch of psyllium hisk in AMPS and pmps to keep things moving. But even with that I see poo most of the time every other day. Occasionally 2 days in a row.

But I can understand the fear for Eddie based on what Blue is going through. If things are moving I wouldnt panic even if it's small :bighug::bighug::bighug:

My K.C. gets the Feline Natural Dehydrated Raw from New Zealand. Her favorite was RadCat which was taken off the market and I really struggled to find one she would like and I tried many brands. It does have the green mussel in it, which bothered me at first.

ETA: Glad for more poop last night from Eddie, that 2nd one could have been in response to the Restoralax and nothing to worry about.
