Good evening, all :)

I upped Ginny's dose to 1.25u two cycles ago ( 24 hours ago), and we're seeing the effects of that. She is now due for her PM Insulin shoot. I will check her again every 20 minutes. If she reaches 8.8 (158) in the next hour, I will likely give her the dose, as I know that, along with monitoring, snacks will keep her numbers in the blue. I've never given insulin to Ginny with a BG lower than 8.5 (153).

Thanks, all. Hope you're all going okay <3

With a history of DKA, you do not want to skip the shot. When did she last eat? I see she is lower at +12.5 than at +12. Sometimes stalling without food can cause the numbers to drop further.

Are you following TR or SLGS? If SLGS, she has earned a reduction today. I would suggest that you feed her and give her the full dose.
You might need to stay up a while and monitor her. Do you have enough test strips and high carb food?

I fed her right after the second +12, so at 8pm. I am prepared to stay up till she's all good. I do have enough test strips and food yes. I'll check her BG again now. I'm still unsure which method, so it's a custom at the moment, I test when I can and have adjusted her low numbers with food, that's about as technical as we've gotten so far...
