Do y'all think getting a 191 on a cat, at the vet, is a big deal? I tend to think not, but that's more than my other cats usually get at the vet (even the high stress ones.) Oh well, I guess I can always test her ear. Hope I'm not too rusty.

I just looked back at Spooks BG bloodwork & he was @205. He trys to get in Panzer's test box with him all the time. I've tried testing him & as far as I've gotten before he takes off is an ear poke but no blood. I would love to be able to test him occasionally, might have to push him more & do it. Hope your kitty is okay.

That's a little higher than I'd expect from the bloodwork. An AT, I wouldn't be surprised.

Looking at Mr Kitty's bloodwork at the vet, highest he's been while in remission is 139...and you know how he is at the vet

Agree, just test at home for a few days.

The 191 glucose number was what came back on the bloodwork run on their in house IDEXX equipment. Not an ear prick. But, I did get a BG test on her last night before bed with my ReliOn Premier and she was at 72, so I feel pretty good about that. Thanks, everyone!

A bit late Suzanne and i don't know if this helps but when Duke went to the vets a couple of weeks ago i checked him just before he set off at AM+10.5 and he was 173, 1 1/2 hours later at PMPS he was 250.
He's always higher after a vets visit but comes back down to normal during the next cycle even when he went over 300 in March.

I wonder if my glucose goes higher at the doc's? I'm not overly fond of doctors ;)
