Thankyou! Yes he is! I had a dental cleaning and he had one extraction about 3 months back now. Plus I moved him to raw food. It made a huge difference in how much insulin he needs. I'm still hoping for remission but he drives this train and I'm just a passenger so whatever he needs.

Miss whiskey isnt doing too bad either. Just needed a little extra help again.

He is indeed, and they do have their own ideas!

Madam Hisk (Whiskey) is doing OK. Also got her on raw, but a 50/50 raw / commercial mix as it weirdly puts up her BG quite high if it is 100% raw!

So strange about the raw! I hadnt noticed that at all. In fact quite the opposite. She just likes to keep you on your toes

Absolutely she does!

Apparently with some cats it can push up BG until their system 'figures out' what to do with a species appropriate diet!

But the benefits of it for her allergies outweigh the concern of it pushing up her BG which I can manage with insulin until her stubborn little pancreas gets the memo!
