I live in Sweden and we don't have a lot of meters to choose from. I'm currently using G pet glucose meter.
After Bowie reached scary levels (for me) of 3,6mmol/L, I went from 2,5U to 2U of prozinc and his levels are now 8,4-8,7 before insulin, and 4,8-7,6 in nadir.
After this incident, I want to monitor his ketones to be on the safe side, but there's not much to choose from.
I don't think he will accept me sticking a strip under him when he pees.
Can cats also use human ketone meters, or do I need to invest in a Centrivet from abroad?
