NOW TWO SOCKS SAYS IT IS DEFINITELY TIME FOR HIM. He has been begging for love and attention. I keep giving more food to him and saying “I have to go take care of Cali”. So he gets me for a couple hours even if we are asleep.

Thank you for that. I was comfortable not getting a test, but I awakened to look in my storeroom for probiotics for my most senior horse, 30 years old. Vet says his diet, when foraging on dry pasture, causes the diarrhea. Happens every year when pasture gets spotty and weeds abound. So that got me up to hunt before I ordered more [why is everything so expensive?]. Anyway, Cali was loving me and hungry, took me to the kitchen. We connived to wake DH for a test. Prevents our bigger shock in couple hours and let’s me see what happens in those wee hours in her body. That seems to be when surprises abound.
