As much as I love the blues the greens make me nervous even though I know this is a normal/OK number.

Definitely normal. Blue and green soon will become contagious. With SLGSa reduction has been earned for that 75. You reduce every time a bg falls under 90 and then hold that dose for 7 days unless another reduction is earned before that congratulations on the reduction. Your new dose is 1.5 starting tonight.

He ate more within the half hour window before testing but we didn't want to wait longer to test. He's eating again now and will test again at +8.15

So, no shot. Cancelled my dinner plans for tonight and will be home tomorrow if I should be monitoring him more. Should we be testing often tonight or give his ears a break? And, in the morning do I just follow the same protocol with the reduced 1.5 dose? Re-reading through now, but would love some reassurance.

77 at what would have been +1… hasn’t eaten since before last checking so think he’s coming up on his own now. Will check again in an hour or so.

Sorry no one responded earlier. Lovely numbers today. He is in the normal range now (50-100 on a human meter). He should start rising. Stay with low carb food. You need not monitor as closely since you skipped the shot. How about a test at +3 next?

Tomorrow morning you go down to 1.5u. He has earned a reduction today.

Will test again at +3 as suggested. And, reduce to 1.5 in the AM.
