She surprised me last night and earned a reduction to .25u. Kinda put a spin on game night; felt like I was playing Yahtzee while everyone else was playing Azul. Very happy for calipers and magnifying glasses this morning. I use my under cabinet lights for backlighting
This is my set-up for measuring doses. I use the zoom function of my smartphone camera as a magnifier (much better than a magnifying glass) and a tablet as a backlight. This was a set-up invented by another member that she shared with me.
That's gooood. I use my phone zoom for lots of stuff, will try this.
I need readers anyway & thanks to @Hendrick Cuddleclaw, was using a headlamp for ear pricks, so I just bought a set of the headband style with a light. I swap in one of the higher power lenses for measuring. Like the stereo microscope I got when my kids were homeschooling (now called splinter-vision), it's found many uses outside of the original reason for purchase

Yes we eventually changed out our headlamp setup I use in the my video for the headlamp-and-lenses combo unit as well, with the several sets of lenses at different magnifying strengths that you can swap in and out.
