How are you measuring 0.10U? Do you check the syringes for zero errors? That is, when the plunger is fully pressed, does it align with the zero mark?

Nope, I have not been checking them for zero errors. Previously for 0.1U, am just using estimation by eye power, with the plunger almost touching the zero mark.

Is there a more accurate way to do this?

If I remember right, you don't have syringes with half unit markings, right? The only more accurate way to do it is to count drops. Practice squeezing out equal size drops and see how many drops are there in 0.25U and half of that will be 0.10U. It is hard to measure these tiny doses!

Some of us use calipers but i don't know if you want to bother with them:

Yup. I just practiced and it's so hard to get equal size drops :banghead:

I can only try estimating 0.1U by looking at the size of the drop as compared to the 0.25U drop. I guess I can only use this way for now :confused:

I actually bought a caliper previously and wanted to try this out. However, the unit marking is so tiny to the point that even adjusting the caliper is so hard. :banghead:
 
Yeah, squeezing out drops is hard. I tried and gave up! Just try eyeballing it for now and see.

I use my phone camera to zoom to be able to see better. I used another phone/tablet as a lightbox below the syringe and callipers.

Nice setup! Did you use a caliper for every single cycle?

I tested using a caliper and seems like the amount I estimated to be 0.1U by eyeballing seems to be quite the same when using a caliper.
Am wondering if I can just eyeball it for each cycle since it will take me 15 - 20 mins to use a caliper :facepalm:
 
Not sure why her PMPS went up to 113. :eek: Tested twice and got the same reading.
Followed the usual routine and fed her at a snack at +9.

I still went ahead and gave her the 0.1u dose. Shall see what other surprises she's going to give me later on. o_O
