What's considered a "big" drop in BG? I figure meter variance plays a part in determining this but that's as far as I got lol.

I suppose it depends on the reason you're asking. Are you asking to know if/when to test again? Or when to possibly intervene with MC earlier in the cycle to prevent a reduction?

Answering a question with a question. I love it!
Reason I ask is for a clearer definition of an active cycle. When Cleo has/had higher ps#s it was easier to determine a big drop. Now that Cleo is starting to see lower numbers I was wondering how that's defined.
For ex. Her PMPS was 149 and her +2 was 90. I consider it a big drop but maybe I'm wrong.

PS so glad you're keeping an eye out on us! How are the kids...human and fur?

That is a big drop. Did you feed higher carbs or LC? And at +3.25?

Looks she's changed things up a bit and decided to keep you on your toes!

I don't even remember the last time I had REM sleep. I just cat nap now.
@+2 I fed 1 tsp LC -- reason LC bc BG was higher green
@+3.25 Tested BG 52 fed 1 tsp LC and 1/2 tsp DM gravy
@+4.5 tested BG 75 fed 1 tsp LC

I plan on another test @+5ish.

Yes that was a big drop, for an active cycle I personally consider it something like 25-30% by +2/+3 - so about 5-10% beyond meter variance.

We're all good, thanks!
