@Bandit's Mom
I didn't read your reply from last night until after the fact of giving Leo the dose decrease. The 199 told me you are right. I still wonder when the time comes and the1.25 takes Leo under 50--why not try less than 1.25, and just a little more than 1?

ETA: Forgot to tell you! The Internal Medicine Dr who was part of the decision to release Hayden has a diabetic cat! I shared FDMB with her and the FB group. It was kinda funny because all the focus went off DH for more than a minute, and the whole reason she was in the room. It was so funny! These cats have us wrapped!! ♡♡♡ :cat::p:kiss:

Since he seems to be going between doses multiple times, you have 2 options:
  1. Take a skinny increase - so a dose between 1 and 1.25 I.e. 1.125U. That is hard to draw accurately and consistently without callipers.
  2. Take the increase to 1.25u and use the rule for cats who fail reductions for taking a reduction . That is, you would reduce only if he drops between 40 and 50 on 3 separate days.

I do have calipers, but haven't been able to 'meet' with @Margaret (and Pearl).
