Try and relax.
He is doing fine. We expect a drop in BG with the onset of insulin. Remember he has only had the 0.5 units so it is not like last time when he had 3.75 units.

Ok give some honey and some high carb food. Maybe rub the honey on his gums first.

He is still quite safe at 2.9
It’s just that it’s early in the cycle, that’s why I suggested the honey

You are using the libre right? So it is easy to scan?
Test when you feel comfortable. If 10 makes you feel more comfortable that’s OK, otherwise 20.

Sometimes the libre can be a bit unreliable with the very low numbers.
I would believe the human meter BG of 4.4 over the libre BG

Yes. I’ve been following and not exactly trusting those Libre numbers. Just too weird.

I find them a bit unreliable when they drop into the lower numbers.
