I've been giving Leo's ears a break, so I admit some of the picture is missing.

Curious what a higher or lower BG will indicate. Last night's number was +3.6, and 5/15 was a +4; 5/12 was 4.25. Trying to learn...

What does it mean if BG goes lower? How much more time until the next test after +3 (5/16) would have been helpful? What changes by knowing?

Dosing is based on how low a dose takes him. The aim of tests is to ascertain that (and also of course, to keep him safe). His nadir seems to be around +5 but in bounce breaking cycles, it can be later. If you see a sharp drop at +3, another test around +5 would be good to see how much lower he is going.
