The first test this morning was 100 but I didn't believe it -thought it was a bad strip- so I waited 20 mins retested and got a 185. That makes more sense based on how flat she was last night AND she hadn't eaten since +8 last night.
This is my first blue preshot and I am thrilled it happened on a day when I am home all day to monitor. No hesitation ... shot the full 3 units.

Go Cleo! Looking good, I feel like I see a transition happening in Cleo's SS, less pink more yellow and blue. Good progress!

Congrats on shooting your first blue without hesitation, shoot low to stay low :D :D :cat:
 
+3 she's green with a 93. Fed her some LC. Testing advice please? I was planning on a curve every 3 hours but maybe need to test more?

Also, if you really think it's a bad strip just re-test immediately. If you still have blood on the ear, just use the same drop of blood.

I had already applied a damp cloth to the prick and she wanted her test treat so unfortunately not an option at the moment. We were ahead of schedule anyway so there was time for her to chill out then test again. :)

Ok an hour it is! I am a test-a-holic myself these days. I can't believe I wasn't testing sooner. Hindsight I guess.
 
+7 up to 84. Fed a little more LC. Gonna take a break from testing until maybe +10. I'm hoping the bounce won't be too bad from this stretch of greens.

Thank you for saying this Suzanne. I was and wasn't nervous all day if that makes sense! You (and all the people and info in this forum) definitely made me feel reassured that I could handle this. A string of greens is new to me and Cleo.
Just tested (+10.75) and she's 254. Guessing this is normal? Does a bounce happen within 3-4 hours?

A bounce can definitely happen that quickly.
