I think the Lantus is really starting to effect Panzer. I'm excited & scared at the same time! I'm also wondering if he's kinda bouncing. I had to work today so I only got a couple of tests today. I will be testing until +8 PMPS tonight. Hopefully he surfs safe & has a good cycle. I'm getting ready to put mirtaz on Spooks ear again today, I was hoping to wean him off of it,but I've had to coax to eat the past 2xs now, so I'm putting some on in an hour or so. I just caught Spook with a used dryer sheet in his mouth. He seems ok looking out the window getting some fresh air. That can't be good though?

I think he was trying to eat it. I know to throw those straight away! Glad I caught it right away. Crazy boy, I put mirataz on his ear an hour ago. Hopefully he eats & doesn't get aggressive. Yes paws crossed for flatness :D
 
Crazy Spook! Hopefully Panzer just had a late nadir (look like it.) I hope he stays in those nice blues tonight so you can get some sleep. Flat would be nice anyway!

He's heading down but it was feed & doxycycline time. They both cleaned their bowls, Panzer faster than Spook & Panzer wanting more.

I'm worried about Spook his last cerenia is supposed to be tomorrow & the rest is for Panzer to take while taking the doxycycline. That combo is working so far. He did have a loose stool earlier, so I'm going to do a pinch of MiraLax tonight. I was hoping to have Spook off of the Mirataz by Wed as well, but the my poor boy is still struggling with eating.
 
Nice to see those greens today Christina, I feel awful for Spook ,I hope he starts eating soon for you, can you get some more cerenia for Spook from your vet.
Silly Spook trying to eat the dryer sheet, I have to hide toilet paper , tissues and napkins from Tyler or else he eats them, Perry would do the same thing
What could taste so good about dryer sheets, toilet paper, tissues and napkins. These cats are crazy. I hope Panzer surfs safely tonight and you can get some sleep :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Exactly yuck :cat:Yes I used to have to hide the toilet paper from him,he would unroll the whole roll:pstill won't leave the kleenex alone though.

I hope he does too. Yeah I guess I could ge him some more. He doesn't go back until the 24th for bloodwork. Panzer is supposed to go on the 10th for bloodwork but he's will still be on the doxy. I told the receptionist I would keep the appointment just incase one of them needs to come in. Hopefully all will be good & we can cancel it.

I would call the vet and ask for another box of Cerenia for Spook.
 
I just read through some of your old thread from yesterday. Good grief what a time you have had. I’m sorry.

An abnormal pap can frequently be taken care of with a cryosurgery- which is really just freezing the abnormal cells and they slough off. It’s done on an outpatient basis- no hospital stay or anything- an in office procedure at a lot of places.

No we got 40mins until feed time.:arghh: I used to feed @+7 but I've been over cautious since starting the lantus. I'm not gonna lie if he's in the green for AMPS I'm going to be scared. I have to leave for work @+4 AMPS.

Well we will see. If you don’t want to ever see a green AMPS, then you may have to tweak his dose — but we don’t know yet — you are still gathering data. I hope he won’t be though. It’s one thing to have a green amps when you’re home and another when you have to go to work! I understand.

Well I may be going to work with no sleep he's still dropping, he's eating now though. Time to come back up Panzer :cat:
 
I see he seemed to flatten out in the greens last night. :-) Blue AMPS this morning. Are you okay with that? How many hours will you be gone. You can check AMPS +4 before you leave? Is that right? Make a new post for today, May 3 and answer on that thread.

Sorry I had to get going to work. I'm fine with shooting in the blues. I clean houses for a living so I never really know how long I will be gone. Today was a breeze 3hrs & about 5mins from home got a little nap in after +8 AMPS feeding. Yeah I can check +4 AMPS before I leave that's why I have Panzer's shot set up at 4am & 4pm also so I can make it back home for +8 AMPS which doesn't always happen. My ex roommate is supposed to be feeding tomorrow because Wed is my long day, bigger houses & an hour drive round trip. I don't know if I'm going to make a post tonight, that's why I'm answering on here.

You are doing an amazing job of taking care of them. He's had a very good blue day ... all pretty much flat blues. I hope he's feeling well in those numbers. Also hope those two guys eat well tonight. I like to hear about them playing together. It makes me smile.
