i fed him a mix of 14 and water at 3 and left 4% in auto. i got comfortable and thought he would be ok. well, NO, wakes me up at +6 with hypo symptoms just like last time only slightly less srong. Test showed 56. got a couple of gravy bites on his tongue. he is acting like he is hungry but forgot how to eat properly. got him to eat 4 of the Get Naked simple and honest pet treats for sensitive stomach. Will test in 10min. i think he is past the hard part and now its a waiting game to watch his symptoms calm down.
Man...just goes to show...dont get comfy or complacent!!! im sure he went under 50 tonight...and im thinking im supposed to do a reduction even though I didnt see the actual number because of his symptoms. What you think @Bandit's Mom @tiffmaxee ... Thanks ladies:nailbiting:
 
lots of circular pacing, going up to corners of room and standing in them for long amounts of time (and lifting his upper body like he wants to jump into the corner) hard to explain.
going up to side of bed as if to jump, but almost falling backward because its like he forgot how to jump. Then trying to climb things he never has before and Not being able to so ihave to go grab him amd set him down...then he just paces amd does it again.
biting into a treat and then kinda dropping it out of mouth (not cuz he doesn't want it but because it seems he forgets how to chew)....its like his brain doesn't get the messages to the other parts of his body.
It is like when my mom or aunt would start acting really weird and confused and not knowing what they were doing and it turning out that they were low on potassium...

test @ +6.5 is 57
this is after i gave him the 4 treats and he actually licked up some of the 14% gravy...

symptoms are easing up, pacing has almost stopped and he is eating better. but still doing the corner thing and not jumping properly.
BG went down from +7 to +7.75...ate more 14% gravy between there also...man! this insulin is really working him!
 
ok 102 at almost +8.5
he took a breather, laid down on my chest for a good 5 minutes while i gave him love.
Think he will be fine by morning. He will reduce to 1.75U for the 1st time.
But Im not shooting him in AM unless i can clearly see that he is back to normal.

ok, now try to go bk to sleep, but probably won't be able to!
