I've lost the link again. Andy and Marco are beyond difficult, this is not the 'pill a cat 101' you learned with your first cat Boots, Buster or Puddles.
For security I never use the "remember my passwords option" and I'm up to over 1,000 bookmarks. Sorry, this will be the last time. Pass the hydrogen peroxide please. :blackeye:

Have you tried pill pockets? My boy is definitely not pillable but he will eat it in a pill pocket & not even know it.

It's worse than you can imagine, frothing at the mouth etc.

Watching a vet or tech do this is beyond me, "Bloop, all done". I have those nasty Henckels scissors for knots and the dog's burrs yet I'll pile all the cats in the car to get their nails trimmed. I can do a James Bond turn but this is like not being able to wipe your own bum. :(
Then come the oh so helpful tips. Place cat between knees, tilt head back, with your new pill gun (I have three), stroke bottom of cat's neck, this magically produces a 'How far can I spit this out' response.
Does anyone know how to make Chloroform or park a trailer?

My cat Ginger is impossible to pill. Luckily her daily pill is tasteless and dissolves in water and she gets that mixed with her breakfast each morning.
An admin on a feline hyperthyroid face book group often recommends wrapping the pill in a Bil Jac Little Jacs treat. They are smaller than, and very moldable like a pill pocket.
Sometimes, I give Ginger 1mg of ondansetron. I take 2 Little Jacs treats and break them in half, and mold one half around the pill. I give Ginger a half without the pill first and let her eat it. Then I give her the half with the pill in it, and as soon as she starts to eat that one I put down the other 2 halves quickly. She purrs loudly as she is eating them.

@ Gill & Mac (UK) I finally found the video by doing a search of my own threads and had to go back to 2020.
there's some oddball things about this. No matter how I type in Gill & Mac the drop down list does not show that name.
The first address posted for YouTube is what I get using Google Chrome. The original video is from Google Plain in 2020. Apparently I shouldn't be able to run both versions of Google (I really dislike Chrome, makes my bookmarks vanish) but I can.
I also have a version of Windows ME that takes off like a rocket and has never crashed. It's call IBM Gold Code and has no games, no Restore and very few fonts. Who cares if it runs right?
This was the non-Chrome YouTube address
