When was the last time he threw up before the +4?

Famotidine is for stomach acid, so if you noticed the puke had excess stomach fluid then I'd consider it. But if it was mostly food, I'd consider Cerenia. BUT if this is first time today I'd probably wait it out

This was the first time puking & it was all food no bile. He just finished eating a couple of tsps food & is keeping it down so far. Fingers & Paws crossed for no more puking!

Panzer has been doing great until about 30mins ago. He puked all of his +4 Feeding up. I am going to try & feed him a tsp or 2 in about 30mins. If he doesn't eat that should I give him a famotidine? I also have some cerenia on hand if needed? I also noticed a bit of a runny bowel movement this morning before AMPS. He is due for mirilax in his next feeding @+8. Should I skip it? @FrostD @Suzanne & Darcy https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB...pmps-122-66-3-73-4-101-7.261290/#post-2932321
I would skip the Miralax. If he keeps it up, I would try the Cerenia - but only if he vomits again

Good. Panzer seems to do this occasional vomiting thing and then he gets over it.
Yes he does. I'm wondering why his #s are so high. The landlord put more salt in the water softener the same night he puked & his #s have been unusually high. Do you think that could have something to do with it? He doesn't drink water that I see but I put 2 tablespoons of water in his wet food every time I feed.

You could try distilled water and see if it makes any difference?

My vet said that is what he should be drinking too. When you Google it though it says i is missing important stuff that is in tap water & can cause kidney failure. He just had a loose poop & him & Spook both have not been wanting to finish there food even when I add a little fortiflora, they both just eat a little. Panzer has been on the same insulin vial since October. It looks fine but I wonder if it's losing it's potentensy?

October seems like a long time... but I know lots of people say to use it to the last drop. You won't know unless you try a fresh vial/pen.
Ok I will give it until Thursday night since I'm off Fri Sat & Sunday & I can monitor & test him.He's still dropping @+3 +4 but maybe it's just not lasting as long because he's been on it for over 5mons now. There's about a third of the vial left. I got a brand new one in December from chewy. It's in the refrigerator unopened.

Depending on where you live there can be some nasty stuff in tap water but also naturally naturally occurring minerals you don't get in H2O. There's a reason for everything, this is one I don't know.

@Chrispooky12 How's Panzer doing?
He's doing good other than his #s are higher than they normally are. My other non sugar boy is giving me a hard time eating all of his food now:rolleyes: he's eating most of it but I made him a vet appointment for next Wed that's the soonest they can get him in without me just dropping him off for the day. I don't trust many with leaving my boys anywhere without me. I avoid ER vets for that reason + the cost.

I live in what used to be a small town just east of Indianapolis IN. My vet an someone else suggested distilled water but when you Google it. It's not good, I'm going to do some more research on it & maybe make a post on here seeing what others give there babies. What do you give yours?

Keep me posted on both furbabies!
I usually put some tap water in the wet food but have been thinking about using bottled water after reading your post.

I'm going to start Panzer on a fresh bottle of insulin Thursday night because I'm off work Fri Sat & Sunday, so I can test & monitor him. He's been on the same bottle since the end of October, so hopefully that will kick his #s back down.
