I buy the Pettest syringes from Chewy and apparently, they changed them. The old ones had the .3 mark on them and the new ones only have .5, so I have to count the lines. This really threw my off.

Can you post a photo of the syringe and the markings ? You need to copy and paste it. Sounds like the wrong syringes.

The ones you got from Chewy are the .5cc syringes instead of the .3cc syringes but it looks like the .5cc syringes are the only ones available on Chewy (at least right now). The .5cc syringes are supposed to have half unit marks too....there will just be more of them since the syringe holds more insulin. The .3cc syringes are hard to find everywhere right now (thanks to the supply shortages).

No, more lines since the .5cc syringes hold more insulin than the .3cc syringes do

Can anyone recommend a syringe for me? I like the Pettest 5/16 size needle. I need U-40. I have been waiting for them to come back in stock at several places and now I need to just find a replacement. Chewy sent me some that were .5cc and the plunger sticks in them
