The higher depot is still at play. After a reduction, the depot takes 4-6 cycles to adjust to the lower dose. So what you are seeing now is still 1.5U depot at play.

ETA: There's also possibly additional downward momentum because he is clearing the bounce from yesterday.

And this is the food my husband incorrectly opened this Sunday! Today is Tuesday.
BTW, our kitties eat food too quickly around here ... once a can is opened, when would you discard it?

Has it been stored in the fridge once opened? Should be okay for 2-3 days.

Not sure what to expect. I wonder if that's how it is with feline diabetes? Can this type of pattern be the way it is forevermore? I know some kitties can go into remission, but I don't want my hope to exceed reality. I am a Pisces--LOL.:rolleyes:

I have an appointment and need to leave at +5.25, approximately, so I could get a +5. Guess I should let that BG number dictate if the chiro appt will be attended or not. Thoughts?

What time will you be back...so if you leave at +5.25...back at +? Looking at ss he seems to nadir by +5 so should be ok by then anyway.

I'd personally say keep the appt chiro is muy importante ;)

I'd say he should.be done but this is also a bounce clear plus higher depot. I'd give a little mc. Can you reschedule for a little later like an hour?

Moved appt to 2:45, so I can test again close to 6+.
Ugh, but now we're getting home later when traffic increases.
 
If it's only a matter of a couple of hours, feed HC before you leave and go for it. It's later in the cycle, so that should be enough.
If there is someone at home, ask them to feed him another spoon of HC an hour after you leave.

Leo was 61 at +5.75. Maybe my husband will need to bring me home after the appointment. It is 30-45 min away, and my daughter will not be home until 4:30 (or +8.5).
 
Should I have DH just bring me home after the appointment? I think this is the prudent thing to do giv3n l the particulars.
