Good morning. Max gave me the best birthday present today…a good night’s sleep, and some extra snuggles and kitty kisses this morning. Thank you my Max, best kitty ever! I’m so happy that Max is gradually doing all of the things he did before the FD diagnosis. We’ve had some very emotionally challenging days and nights but he is worth it all. He’s come so far in this journey we have been on for the last 9 months. I’m so very thankful for all involved in helping us through the obstacle course. Hope everyone has a good day!

Hi Lori! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Those are wonderful birthday gifts! It is so great to read what you say about Max being more like the way he used to be. I know I've said this before, but you deserve so much credit for this. I am so happy to see such tremendous love and dedication for your beloved kitty. He IS worth it, isn't he? I agree! My heart just resonates with that! So, again, Happy Birthday to you!

Thank you so much Suzanne. He is worth it all. He’s the sweetest kitty and I didn’t think I could love him anymore than I already did, but his diagnosis has only made our bond stronger despite all of the ups and downs and sleepless nights. I know we still have a ways to go but I’m so thankful for how far he has come. It’s the best. I said it before but I really appreciate all of the support here when I need advice, to vent, or just a big pat on the back. I know we wouldn’t be where we are now without you all here.
 
Well I have never seen any bounce that high, that fast before. I was giving small amounts LC (1 tsp), trying to feed the curve @ PMPS +6 +7 and +8. He had nothing after that except the occasional 1 freeze dried treat with BG checks as usual. Should I have fed more than that or not fed at all after +6 or 7. Any ideas or is it just a crazy bounce? I rechecked that twice because I couldn't believe it! @FrostD @Wendy&Neko @Suzanne & Darcy @carfurby
 
If it's a bounce, then at least it's during the pm. Don't know what happened though. Eesh!:eek:

Happy Birthday Lori, and what a nice B-day present, a good night of sleep!!! I hope that Wendy is right, it's just a big bounce that may give you another night of sleep.:bighug::bighug::joyful:
 
Okay thank you Wendy. I thought about that high before the low too because he’s done that before. I even wondered if one of the kids dropped a Teddy Graham on the floor and Max ate it lol.
Yes, that meant the world to me when he was so affectionate this morning.
 
Love the new avatar! Who wouldn't want to have snuggles and kisses from that sweet boy! Sounds like a perfect birthday to me. Happy Birthday Lori.

Looks like he had a good run of numbers today. Not all cycles make perfect sense or have a particular explanation - you'll have to wait and see if it's a high before the low or a bounce. Sometimes too the dose just peters out.

I just got home and see what Max has been up to. That certainly was a rapid rise! I see he’s pink again. I’m sure you will be checking him some later on tonight.
