3/22 Hendrick AMPS 236 PMPS 86 (!!!) +1 1/2 58 +2 64 +3 53

So you would say it is indeed a bounce? As we start working in the lower numbers it is not so obvious to me. It was not long ago that 236 was a low AMPS number, lol
Yup. As they get used to lower numbers that's what happens (a) they clear bounce fasters and (b) the amplitude of the bounce reduces. Which is not to say he won't throw the occasional pinks or reds till they completely disappear.

annnnnnnnnnd the day has come that Bhooma predicted was going to arrive soon and she was right

we have a GREEN pmps of 86. Shooting the entire 2.75u seems crazy but I know that is the rule -- shoot anything over 50.

god $#% dammit I think it was a partial fur shot. He jerked as I was pushing the plunger, I stopped pushing and there was insulin still in the syringe so I re-inserted and shot the rest in. Some smell of insulin on the fur

so here we have a chance for him to earn a reduction probably nullified by my %$# up. I am so bummed

Many times when we think it was a possible furshot, it ends up not being the case. I would still get a test at +1 since this is the lowest preshot you have had, so it would be a good idea to watch more closely how this cycle shapes up.

A favour please, can you avoid the swear language in the future? It may have not been technically written, but the gist is clear. It really isn't appropriate, albeit your frustration is noted.

how is it not appropriate it is just words? Are we not all adults here? I thought this was a free place to express ourselves about this struggle with our cats. I censored myself very well, I thought. Sorry if I offended somehow, it was not my intention. Now I am feeling like I cannot post here

No, not all adults here, we actually we have some children who post and care for their cats. It is also a general forum where people come by and do not post, so we try and keep things respectful.

Can we take this down a notch please. We do request that posts be kept clean:
LB&L LAND PSA - "No Fowl Language, Please"

As Christie noted, we do have children posting. Thankfully it's very easy to edit a post and those lovely characters *&%$# can all be used to express the same thing. No need to leave, just a quick edit will do.

Sorry about the possible partial fur shot.

Hi Hendrick's Mom. Looks like he's getting some yummy MC tonight! These are all good and healthy numbers. :) Just keep feeding him small amounts of food until he decides he wants to come up.

this sucks I have done nothing but try to help others on this site I'm sorry I'll leave
Please don't leave. We understand your frustrations. There are reasons (history) why we insist on certain rules. I hope you will appreciate that. Hope to see you back soon!
Congrats on shooting your first green!

The depot is keeping Hendrick nice and flat! :D
If it was indeed a partial furshot, could you please add PFS to 2.75 in the U column for tonight?

Kyle, don't leave. You were very welcoming to me when I first joined and helped relay a lot of good info that I needed to learn.
Trust me I have said some choice words also when I've had fur shots. I would get so mad at myself.
With children on here it is best to keep it clean.
It would definitely hurt for you not to continue to be a voice of welcome when
someone enters this big scary world of Feline Diabetes.
Please reconsider.
