Panzer is doing well hecdid have to have fortiflora on one of his feedings today, not because he was feeding sick or not hungry but because he doesn't like the chicken pate. He will eat it but not 2xs in a row. Since I had to rehome Ellie, I have been trying to figure out how much to feed Panzer & Spook. I've been just feeding them a 3rd of the can to each of them & saving the other 3rd & opening a new can at feeding time & saving a half of a can. They were both begging for food after 2hrs this morning. I normally feed them every 4hrs. The last feeding & the one I just fed now, I gave them a half a can each. So far that seems to be working, they aren't begging or puking so that's good. I did notice Panzer in the litter box earlier today when he peed,he did the meow & moved in the box once time. Hopefully that doesn't mean another UTI! He is still on the probiotic @ AMPS feeding but I haven't started the D Mannose up again? I also put Panzer's new bloodwork on his spreadsheet if someone could please take a look at it & tell me what it means? I'm going to tag a couple of people, but please anyone who can interpret it to me please feel free to jump on & tell me what you think, thanks in advance! @Diane Tyler's Mom @Suzanne & Darcy @Wendy&Neko @Bron and Sheba (GA) @Bama Kitty Mom (GA) @Bandit's Mom https://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/thr...t-shoot-ever-86-2-74-3-80-4-93-6-89-7.260754/

Regarding kidney values: There has been a rise in BUN to just at the high end of the reference range. If he was dehydrated at the time, then it could cause an increase in BUN. I also don't like that the creatinine has risen and is now outside of the normal "reference range."

The amylase is high and that makes me think of pancreatitis, but the vet gave him the test and said no, so I wouldn't worry about it unless you see signs in his behavior that he's having a flare up.

More to come...

Oh, and I'm not buying off on that ridiculously low platelet count. The blood sample was probably clumped and they could not get an accurate count. If you check the notes on the bloodwork you may see something to this effect.

Something seems wrong with the numbers in the Leukocyte count. They are listed as decimals the other times you have reported labs but this time they are not. It's the part of the labs where the various types of white cells are counted: absolute neutrophils, monocytes, eosinophils... etc., down to the basophils. Can you check your paper and see if there were supposed to be decimals in there? Or is the reference range different than the one that is pre-filled/given on the labs tab on your spreadsheet?

He seems to be spilling protein into his urine. Ask the vet about this. They may want to do further testing (UPC ratio) or just re-test his urine in a month. One of the causes of protein in the urine is inflammation in the urinary tract (which we know he had/has). There are a lot of other causes too, which I won't even go into at this point. I would watch it, and not panic.

Also, did you mean that his urine specific gravity was 1.028? It just says 1028. If that's the USG, you can move it up to the very first line of the part of the table under uninalysis results ... where it says USG and put it in there instead of below.

I'm pretty sure you told us that you had them run the Spec fPL, but I don't see a number in there for that. I remember you saying the vet said it was negative, but I don't recall the number. But you should record the number there for your future reference and comparison.

I moved it & changed the number it was 1.028

I did ask him to do that test & it's not on the papers I have. There's also no # for the SDMA or a lipase! Geese these vets are killing me :banghead:

I fixed it on there I put the wrong column of numbers in.

Maybe the panc test was on a separate sheet you don’t have since it was a special test. ?
It could be it's says on the bottom of the page 1 of 3 pages. He also told he was waiting for the culture on the urine they took from his bladder the day I had to go back because they didn't have enough urine at his first appointment?

I gave Panzer D Mannose with his +8 PMPS feeding starting again tonight. Him & Spook did very well eating out of there feeders. I haven't put the lids on or turned them on yet, baby steps. I'm hoping to have them up & running by Wed because that is my long day at work. Also my grandson's 3rd birthday is coming up on April 2nd & I haven't seen him since Christmas & I want to be able to see him more often. Hopefully Panzer will keep getting better & everything will work out! :bighug:
