I'm worn out a bit today, but yesterday was a good day. Gives me hope!

My dental cleaning orig sched to 3/24, but they called to see if I can come earlier, 3/15; I said sure as long as nothing comes up with the kitty insulin issues.... and that's exactly what happened. Got it rescheduled back to the original day--just a different time.

Speaking of dental, Leo has never had one so know this might be a source of his higher BG. The vet indicated the need, but first to deal with the insulin....

I was on track this morning to move up the shot time when I noticed the water bottle delivery was at the front door. DH was right there with me and I said stop them now... Delivery instructions should be by the garage door all around the back. So with that interruption, plus sometimes I just have trouble getting the right pinch of fat (Leo doesn't have any), and really struggled. Plus Leo's fur! I get my hand wet to help clear the path, but still sometimes have a heck of a time. Finally! It was 9:47 am. Ack! I was hoping to shoot at 9:30. Well, there's an opportunity tonight to move up the time.

After chiro appointment and two grocery stops, arrived home and knew Leo needed testing, but first had to get him away from l the food bowls--he was ferociously licking.... never mind the one left on the counter still had chow. Anyway, +6.75 BG is 59! Fed LC immediately.Should I feed differently?
Just want to be sure.
 
Guess the number are OK..... read the sticky:
"Low numbers are under 50mg/dL"

So it's all OK.
What I don't know is if he went lower while I was out. :nailbiting:

When I go somewhere new, I like to know as much as possible, in advance, what's next.... so I know. Or in this case, a better idea of what's next. Not knowing is harder for me.
That's why I asked, 'Might be a late night?'

I'm not ready to slip back into SLGS. Maybe just need encouragement. :rolleyes:

Spring forward is not ideal, IMO, for several reasons. Definitely not my favorite, except more opportunities for sunlight.

Fed LC after +2 of 121.
Suggestions/recommendations for more testing? Getting shot time a little early; tonight was 9:20 pm. Yay, better than 10! This will help for PM BG tests.

Just suggesting that you take a reduction to 1.25U. It's possible that Leo would have earned a reduction with TR in the last couple of day without the higher carbs.

Looks like he is headed up so it won't be a crazy cycle. Feed before bed and I guess he will have his regular good in the autofeeder?

I am in India! Elise is in LA.
 
For SOME reason, the AF is off track and the sections are slightly askew and one section has another section slightly showing. Nothing in the CatMate C500 that addresses this. :mad:
 
Since you are awake, do you think you can get a +3? ;)

Sorry, we don't have AFs here in India, so I am of zero help on that front!

He did have food before the BG, though; 134@+3.25. They are quite handy! Wish you had the AFs there.

AF seems to have corrected itself after couple tests, but I'm still contacting the manufacturer.
