He seems to drop quite a bit between +3 and +6. Does he get food then? Maybe a snack at +3 and +5 might help reduce the slide?
Will he eat out of an autofeeder if you set one up for then?
yesterday

Yea, I've notice that. He usually has a snack at +3, +6 & + 9 regardless of what he's at during the AM. I've been mostly trying to keep an eye on those quick drops and start feeding a little lc every hour from when I notice the drop. Unfortunately missed getting his +6 today and he was pretty low by the time I got one in at +8. Looks like he's rising now but he's at a pretty low PMPS = 109. Should I give him his regular dose or adjust it a little? I was going to stall for 15mins or so to see if he's going up even further.

Hi Kystine, sorry no one got back to you. It looks like you gave the shot which is good as he was heading up. :)

Thanks Katherine! Looks like he's starting to creep back down but so far looking pretty good. Fed him a little lc @ +2 and +3 to keep him from dropping too quickly.

With TR, you can shoot any number over 50 (on a human meter), if you can monitor. Lantus is a depot insulin and dosing is based on nadirs and not preshots. Even if you had given a slightly lower dose, the depot would have influenced the first part of the cycle.

Looks like he's keeping you busy tonight! Wonder how long before he is done with this dose :-)
