The depot will be gone from the higher doses. What’s good about TR is if you see the bg trend up you can increase at any time. We just wait to see how he does on this dose for a few cycles.
 
When would be good to test(s) again and what advice for feeding rest of cycle. Of course LC but when? Anytime except after +10 ok?

I’d test at +10 to see I’d he needs a snack before the 2 hour cutoff. The only time not to feed is after. +10. So feed like you always do. I know with pancreatitis you dint want to feed a lot at any point. At least that’s what my vet always cautioned me.
 
Thanks. I have been giving him about 10 CC’s every or hour or 2. Thanks for the advice. Any predictions for what he will be at PMPS? I say 120-140. :).

Do you think he needs a snack? I didn't feed him quite as much today as I did yesterday afternoon.
 
Ok. Does snack mean something more than some of his Normal food?

I am assuming I will be shooting .25 tonight. How low would PMPS need to be to stall and retest. I am assuming PMPS will be about 120. That should be enough to shoot .25 right?
 
A snack would be the usual amount you give him as it’s not a lot. I think if he’s over 150 you can shoot .25. If under, stall, dint feed and recheck in 20 minutes.
 
So you want to see him over 150 to shoot tonight? I don’t think he will get there but we shall see.
 
You have not shot lower. Let’s see how close he gets. Do you have plenty of test strips and Dan you stay up if you shoot?

Get a +2. Onset is then and often is like a crystal ball into the cycle. If lower than the preshot it could be an active cycle. If much higher probably not.
 
+4 102 - Yay! Syringe feeding has it's benefits!

Feed and test in 1 hr, then call it a night if it's flat?

I did have plans to leave the house at +5.5 tomorrow.

so should the plan be to feed throughout the 5 hrs? Test + 2, + 3 ,etc. Worse case if he was crashing I would stay home but I think/hope he will be surfing by then.
 
He should be good. You might not need hourly tests. Every two might be fine if flat. Test before you go and if dropping add a little of the 23% to the last syringe.
