Eww! Lol… well stepping in it is not fun… especially when it’s between your toes… but the thought of it being gobbled up… that might be worse. Gus will leave it (thank goodness). Even when I’m out and you know sometimes it’s just bile and it’s dried and can’t even see? Well, Gus will take you right there and start swiping at it… he doesn’t like messes.. he swipes all messes! Like ‘clean it up, lady’!!

On another note! He waited for day 6… but it’s turned out to be a lime day! 41 (did a second test.. 45)!!

Fed HC and some syrup.

My thought was a drop but I think Wendy thought 0.10.Whichever you pick it will be the last dose before a trial either after 7 days green or a bg under 50. What dues your gut say?
 
In your experience do cats still drop into limes on .1?

I’m just wondering how much of a different it would really make.. it’s a tiny dose for both but drop is almost none. I’m tempted to try a drop dose. But as you saw my .1 and .25 are pretty close for whatever reason.

I’ll do some thinking this afternoon..

That is why my initial thought was to go to a drop. They can still hit lime on even a drop if the pancreas has had enough support. If he stays on it 7 days great.
 
That’s my thought as well. Hoping for the best but prepared myself that there’s a possibility that he might need to go back up for a bit.

Everything, every word I use is never a definite… I always say might or if … that’s for me not to psych myself up too much ;)

That's what I did a few days ago hopped on one foot to get to the paper towels lol
I see it just got brighter, good luck with the drop dose, you will do fine with it .
Tyler sat still when I did the drop dose and counted to ten when I shot it
I just counted out loud and petted him with my other hand. I did count quickly though lol

Aww! He does have a very kissable face! And don’t think for a second I don’t attack him with kisses all the time! Especially while we’re testing … he just sits there for me.. perfect opportunity :) He does do a ‘Maaa, c’mon, you’re embarrassing me’ face. I think he secretly love it though :)

also… he let me count to 10… this time ..

Aww he's a good boy. He probably does love it, I'm happy he sat for you while counting to ten. I think he'll do fine on the drop dose . :bighug::cat:
 
Nitpicky but I'd put drop, if anything to avoid questions or for someone to tell you to go down to a drop lol Or in the future if people are looking at your SS to see how you chose to taper

To me, 0.1U is still a hair of insulin in syringe, vs drop which doesn't even get in the barrel, just needle.

But like Elise said, both are small.
