Hiya so i updated Frodo’s Numbers and im wondering what do u think about them? I increased to 1.75 few days ago as per advice. Below link to previous post - he was at the vets that day as his behaviour was bit odd last few days and numbers were going up despite the increase to 1.5. The vet said to increase to 1.75 which I did the next morning and he got a shot of antibiotic as she said he has bit of the oral pain (red gums) I wasn’t sure about the antibiotic as he has tooth resorption so was just thinking if it was just delaying next possible extraction and I just waisted money that day. He’s kinda the same - numbers not getting any better so I think I have to go back to the vet next week. He has bit of stuff coming out of his eye not sure if it’s related and just noticed that recently can’t say if he had that on the day of the vets visit. My concern is also that he started humping the blanket or duvet on my bed. He did that few times in his life but very rarely and he was neutered ages ago. Now he does that every day (last few days) Was thinking if that has to do something with hormones? or is it completely unrelated to the diabetes ? Sorry for a long post. Any advice is appreciated. Awwww Frodo! Hope there are some upswings in health ahead for him. And OMG haha the amorous blanket ! :smuggrin: Im sorry i dont have tons of dosing knowledge, hope someone else will weigh in
 
I think it’s time for an increase, Paulina. What’s going on with you, Frodo? Maybe he has an upper respiratory thing. They do go away and the numbers come down as a result. Or it could be the teeth bothering him. Not sure what to say about the blanket. :) Maybe just trying to comfort himself somehow?
 
Thank you. Yes I’m gonna book specifically with the guy that sorted his extractions last time as the lady from my previous visit wasn’t to knowledgeable imo also wasn’t even interested in the SS. She asked me to check his sugar only +6 as that’s when nadir happens and get back to her in a week (which is actually today) to see if his numbers are any better and she told me to not change his dose for a 2 weeks :eek:…
