2/20 Chloe update/question on zobaline and felimazole?

Hello!
Chloe is doing great in her OTJ life so far. We are on day 18 and staying under 100 still! Still watching the party video too :)
We bought some of the Zobaline supplements for her leg strength and just wanted to verify that no one has heard of any interaction with Felimazole? She takes it for her thyroid of course, I talked it over with another member but we just thought we would run it by the group also. Thank you!

If the prescribing information for Felimazole does not list any interactions with B-Vitamins (like Zobaline) I would not hesitate to give her the Zobaline.

My mantra is, “when in doubt, spread it out.” I just mean give the thyroid med at one time (morning for example) and the Felimazole at another time (like evening.)

thank you for your answer!
I will be sure to check if it lists any vitamin b interactions. Good idea.
Unfortunately I give the Felimazole morning and night! :(

Yes. I was wondering why she needs Zobaline if she’s OTJ. Surely she shouldn’t have diabetic neuropathy?

Well, she has only been OTJ for 1 week… maybe it is arthritis like @tiffmaxee mentioned. Is zobaline good for that at all or no? I haven’t actually given to her yet honestly. She is jumping a littttttle bit, not much, but much more than she was (which was not at all)… after I got her nails trimmed I wasn’t able to get to like I normally do that seemed to help the mobility. So I'm not sure? Im just trying to do my best :( it’s so hard to know what is always going on with them, I wish they could talk to us haha
Thank you all so much for always helping me. You are the best!!

Run it through Good RX intervention checker. I’m glad she’s doing well. Could it be arthritis?

I will do that! Thank you!
She is doing good! Staying under 100, only 1 so far (today 102) and we are 1 week past OTJ anniversary today!
I haven’t been able to post much because I’ve been limited using my arm after having my surgery and healing last week.
She LOVES the pure bites chicken! Thanks for the suggestion :) she didn’t care for the vital essential fish minnows … no one in the house did (including me) lol they were yuck to even look at or touch. Those went to the outdoor stray kitties who gobbled it right up.
Officially have 2 of my babies off dry food… now to get those others. They are ADDICTED :( but I saw there is a transition plan on here so I will use that.
Thanks for your advice, as always!! I’ll keep you posted :) Chloe is a miracle!!
She has a vet visit in 2 weeks and can’t wait to share with him about how well she is doing!!! :)

My two don’t like minnows either nor did I. They do love Life Essentials salmon. One likes Vital Essentials tuna. Chloe might like it as it’s like dry food. They make other proteins to try as you don’t want to feed a lot of fish.

Great news about getting two off dry. Good luck with the rest. I hope you feel better each day. :bighug:
Happy anniversary! Let us know what your vet says.

I hope your arm will heal quickly. Good thing you haven't had to do much testing. I hope Chloe will continue to do well. So you say she's not jumping much? Any noticeable trouble walking? If it is arthritis, we have members on this board who are having great results with Adequan injections. Will you get blood work done to check her out at her upcoming vet visit. That's going to be exciting to tell him/her that Chloe is off the juice!!

The B12 (Zobaline) should not have a problem interfering with the Felimazole. My 18 yr old hyperthyroid kitty gets a B12 shot monthly at the vet & she’s on transdermal methimazole twice a day.
Congrats on Chloe going OTJ! :cat::otj:

I was surprised she liked the chicken, but she loves it!
I will give the others a try as you suggested. Thank you! I’ll keep you posted :) I can’t wait to see how well she does every day.

Thank you so much!! :) I am doing well; started physical therapy yesterday.
She jumps a litttttttle, not much… more than she used to though; no trouble walking that I’ve noticed. Yes she will have her blood work done at the vet visit :) I’m looking forward to sharing the news with her vet! I recall a member here sharing that injection for arthritis with me a while back also. She takes cosequin; has for some time… it does help, i guess I got concerned if I could do more. You know how is kitty moms are :)
Thank you for your information; I appreciate it!
