Yesterday

Like yesterday, with him in a mid-to-high yellow at +2.5, I don't see the value in more pokes until PMPS, with what we know now as far as how he reacts to the insulin and food. But on the other hand, that's quite the drop from AMPS so....not sure.

So the question is should I still be poking at +4 (typically he nadirs around +4/5)

I mean, if he was in the blue at +2.5/3, that would be different. Or even low yellow. Thoughts? Advice?
 
Yes. You need a minimum of two tests each cycle. Last night there was a big drop by +3 and perhaps he hit green later causing a bounce. Without later tests you dint know the nadir. I would have gotten one more last night. Cats often go lower at night. Nadirs move around.
