Ok about the syringes I looked all over for shorter U-40 with half unit markings
they don't make them, and we don't want to chance getting the ones that were posted before since we are not sure they have the half unit markings even though they say so

Here is what I used to use when I was using U-40 with half unit and never had a problem going thru his skin

Are these the brand you have

The only ones that are shorter are the U-100 , so when and if you switch to lantus I can tell you where to get them

Yep, those are the ones I use. I don't necessarily need half unit markings. I am at 3 units and can do the best I can with using them for 1/2 units.
 
That's good, one other thing when you do a new post everyday , attach the previous days post to it like I did above, in case members need to go to look at something so they won't have to search for it

Go up top to your previous days post you Will see up in the upper left hand corner the pic of the cat which says feline diabetes next to him
Above that is n that long line where it says https://felinediabetes .com /FDMB /threads that's what you will press down on the word copy will appear copy it and then go to your new post for the day and press down and hit paste

Preshot tonight is 267 (relion) and the new Libre says 363. Low for Kaia... I'm confused. Do I cut back a little on the insulin tonight? Not the full 3 units?

She is finishing up her meal, then I'll test again

Libre 370. I know it takes a little time for the Libre to calibrate. But now I'm worried how much insulin to give. I've never been at this point before...
 
Ah sorry I don't get notifications if I don't reply to threads, I should have turned on notifications for you.

I think that was an ok thing to do. Normally we say above 200 then shoot full dose, but she's been so wonky and huge dives cautious is ok. Did you do any tests after that last night?

The libre vs ReliOn is just meter variance, and remember the libre reads interstitial BG so it will always be a little different
