2/10 Gus AMPS 52 , +2.75 85, +7 66, +9.75 112, PMPS 97, +2 77, +4 43, +5 83, +6 68, +9.75 72

Wow! I thought he would be 200!
Get a +9.5 and feed so he's not too low at PMPS - can't believe I'm saying this about Gus after a skip!

I'm going to tag @tiffmaxee to watch out for your PMPS tonight. 6pm EST? So that's 3pm for her.

97 @ PMPS

Going forward with regular dose now.. but holy moly, he came down a bit from +9.75’s 119

So sorry. I got involved with condo stuff and didn’t see this. He didn’t really come down much if you take into account meter variance of 20%. I’d get a +2 to see what his plans might be for tonight. That depot really was full to still be where he is after a skip.

No worries, I knew what I had to do :)

I thought of the variance as I was writing it but seeing that green ( :D green > blue  ) These colours really are addictive haha.

I was nervous to drain the depot, I didn’t want to lose any progress.. but I think it was a good call with seeing his numbers today (guess we could still see the effects of it in cycles to come too) - and as you said, must have been a full depot. He was having a hard time staying in the 50s/60s with HC and syrup every hour these last few nights so hoping this will help a bit.

He’s gained 2 lbs in the last few weeks and I think it’s from intervening with food overnight every hour (tsp) when he wouldn’t eat much usually. On a high day he’ll get food at +6 or 7 before I go to bed then sometimes maybe +9 ..

His +2 is 77. Will grab a +4 to see what more he’s up to

As for the weight gain, how about feeding a little less at amps and pmps so you have food to feed the curve. So same amount of food as before but portioned out a little differently?

That might be an idea... I need to cut back somewhere. He went down to 14lbs (from 19) since diagnosis and (besides the reasons) I was really happy with that… he’s a big boy structure wise .. it was a perfect weight - especially with his FHO/hip issues.

I haven’t weighed him his week but last weigh in was 15.5 and I think he’s up from that.

I had the same problem with Max. He gained and although I tried to cut down his calories he wasn’t active so it was impossible. He was large as well and 14 pounds was a good weight. He got up to 16 or 17. :banghead:

The thing with good old Gus is that he likes to keep dropping all the way to the end of the cycle. You've seen PSes in the 50s after feeding HC at +9/+9.5
Hoping the skip would change that.

He is lower at +6 after feeding HC at +5, right?

Ya, HC @ +5, and lower at +6 … so HC and test at +7?

ETA: I did feed LC already..
