good morning! Increasing to 1.75 today. This dose was amazing initially last year, so hopefully it will be again. Fingers crossed.

there’s been less craziness around drinking water these last two days so even though his numbers are high, something is happening.

I sure hope so. He had completely stopped and then after two those reductions that didn’t stick his numbers went up again and so did the drinking.

I have had several reductions that didn't stick too, it is such a drag. This does take a bit of patience doesn't it.

It really does. I wish my vet had told me beforehand that feline diabetes isn’t a simple fix disease. I thought you find the right dose quickly and then it works out from there. If I had known that I wouldn’t have felt like such a failure with the failed reductions I think. But here we are and the most important thing is that my sugar boy starts feeling better again!
