Hey guys,
so I’m getting pretty comfortable with getting blood from my kitty’s ears. I’ve seen all the charts and pictographs and what not - I’m getting pretty good at getting just a small drop needed without warning or anything.
that being said, I feel like a few times I’ve maybe overshot and went all the way through the side of the ear. I cant tell, and she doesn’t react to it much, but does anyone have any tips to ensure you don’t actually pierce clean through the other side? I take a heavily folded paper towel and place it inside her ear so I have something to press against. Not sure if that helps or hurts matters.
Thanks!!
