Good morning all! Well at least he is better than Charlotte. Aside from her surprise, I went to get his insulin refilled only to find out that the pharmacy is now closed on weekends. Hopefully the script transfer to another store will fill it before they are due or I am in trouble. Ugh! Won’t let this happen again.

I hope you get the new insulin in time. So much easier in Canada where scripts aren't needed and I could walk up to any store pharmacy and get it.

Yes, I went into cvs and bc I’m his vet, they had me write up a new rx bc of course Walgreens isn’t open until Monday and they needed to speak with them today in order to transfer it over. Thank God they had it and could do this today! Lesson learned! I suppose I could have called in a new script this morning but I had brain fog this morning and was in a panic! Thinking of trying out Canada though bc one pen is 93.00 and I have 2 on it now. Ugh!!

Another option for you to consider is Semglee. It's a biosimilar to Lantus/glargine and considerably cheaper. We have a few people here using it.

Hmm… never heard of it. Is there another name for it??

Check out their website. It was approved as interchangeable with Lantus by the FDA June/July last year.

There is also now a bio similar Semglee generic.
Its even cheaoer than Semglee, doubt anyone knows about it.
