Hi All. Please pray for Wolf. He is my one outsider who won't come in and at 16 years took a beating from the East Coast blizzard. A neighbor helped me catch him and we put him in my large shed where I placed warm water and food, plus two electric portable radiators.
Now for my post:
My Sadie has been suffering with head congetion for ten years. She sneezes and fires missles across the room. She is on a steady diet of pred and ocaasion depo and Convenia. Sometimes it works. but it comes right back. She is supposed to be on Zeniquin for several weeks, but she hates the taste of the pills and will not take the meds. So, she is on Veraflox once a day, so far for ten days. The Vet does has not come up with a Zeniquin capsule or liquid which I could possible give her successfully. The Veraflox is not having any effect. I have been researching trying to find which organisims are succeptible to Zeniquin of Veraflox and only get the same repeitive garbage on line. She has been tested and we do have results, but I don't know which one is more likely to help her through this. Thanks for reading this.

I'm not surprised that Convenia may not work. It's used for skin infections. If you didn't find this info on Zeniquin, it may be helpful. It mentions the bacteria that Zeniquin treats.

One of the tricks I've used with pills is to put them in a blank capsule. If a tablet is bitter, having it in a gel cap protects your cat from the bitter taste. Capsuline has cat sized capsules.

Thank you for the advice it has given me some direction.
Update:
Wolf apparntly was suffering from Hypthermia and is/seems to be doing a lot better. However, i'm doing a separate post on himcoming up.
Back to Sadie:
She has been suffering from a viral condition in her sinuses as I described in my psot. Not being able to give her Zeniquin because she hates the taste of the tablets the Vet put her on 1.5 ml of Veraflox once a day. Now, after 16 days I see little difference, if any. After doing some researh I found Wedgewood Pharmacy in Woodbury, NJ. They are not a drug store it is a massive company manufacturing meds. They can compound Zeniquin in may forms including liquid and flavored. So, I am asking the Vet to write a scip for it. I will let you know how it works out. Thank you Forgive any typos I have very bad vision.
Please see new post on Wolf

I'll check you Roadrunner. Thanks.
I have been using WW for nearly eight years and always impressed.
The Zen cost $40 plus $8 shipping...not bad!
