True. I was just thinking more carbs to offset the increase might work. I wasn’t sure though.I would suggest you feed the 9% with LC at +1 to prevent the dives. I think you'd stopped that hoping he would earn a reduction? The diving to the 50s is triggering bouncing - sometimes it's almost a 100pt drop. With nadirs in the 50s, there isn't room for an increase. If his numbers stay higher after this, you can consider an increase.
I agree with this and don't on the 9%. Part of me feels like he mix is a bit too much but when I just give just the LC at +1 it isnt enough to stop dive. Then the dive triggers the highs again like we are on a roller coaster and cant get off.Maybe it’s time to stop feeding 9% again. It doesn’t seem to help. Or you could increase and continue feeding 9% early. See what the others think. I dint think it’s the insulin as you would be getting all higher bg which you aren’t.
I agree about his number diving into 50's that if I increase we could have a hypo episode. But I obviously dont want to let him get used to higher numbers and have to break through again.I would suggest you feed the 9% with LC at +1 to prevent the dives. It's all trial and error with carb%. LC mixed with 9% would have worked out to what carb%?What do you ladies think about trying a 4% at +1 instead of the mix of LC with 9%?
Somewhere around 6 to 7% if we use linear mathIt's all trial and error with carb%. LC mixed with 9% would have worked out to what carb%?
Hmmmm....not sure it was too much. In some cycles, it helped reduce the diving. All you can do is play with the carb% and see what works.Somewhere around 6 to 7% if we use linear math
I actually think the mix I'm using is a tad higher than 4%. If I use linear math it is around 6 to 7%. And yes they are only estimates and there will be variations in each batch.Agree! It’s trial and error and when you think you figure it out they change the rules on us sometimes. I think you mix is close to 4% isn’t it? Oh, I see you think lower. The thing is tge carb percentages are only estimates. Every batch is likely a little different.
No you guys are always great helps even if it's a think tank session! It helps me think around an issue if I can 'think out loud' so to speak and bounce ideas off others! <3Hmmmm....not sure it was too much. In some cycles, it helped reduce the diving. Sorry we can't be of more help!
So given the +7.25 bg I'm thinking it was a definite PFS this morning. I noted it as a possibility on the ss.
He has had no snacks since +3 and that was a tsp of his regular LC. I'm not keeping food from him he just isnt hungry and I'm ok with that. Just noting that as it isnt what is affecting current higher bg.
Yes he does that a lot when he is happy!u cnaged ur pic...is that LM? cudnt see him very well in ur other pic. so cute with tongue sticking out!
Fixed got used to doing green....A yellow after a while!
Btw, the 101 and 147 in the AM cycle would be coloured blue and not green!![]()
Looks like it!I think the yellow is the fur shot that I'm most positive happened this am.
It just seems out of place given the nadirs we have seen over last couple days. I'm really hoping to get back on track here...Looks like it!
