Is it you or Ares that isn't feeling well? (I saw the note about his vomiting.)

Had you thought about adding methylcobalamin to see if it's a matter of diabetic neuropathy that's causing your kitty to have trouble jumping? Alternatively, it could be arthritis.

that jumping issue that happened the other night, it is completely gone. i think that was prolonged hypo numbers that i didnt catch...either that or he got into something that i don't know what while i was asleep that was toxic for him. ive looked everywhere for something left out and cannot find anything.

He is sitting weird some days...i think it could b some mild (since it is NOT all the time) pancreatitis cause he also vomits some days. so i bought the Enzyme Miracle from amazon and have been putting it in his food. He has only been on that for 2 days now. and im slowly getting more in him.

he threw up yesterday morning food (he could have gone too long without food because sometimes he doesn't get up to eat out of his autofeeder which he gets 15 min to eat his last meal then it closes)

Today he is acting perfectly fine sitting normal...playing and grooming. no vomiting either.

it was me who was really sick yesterday and still today. when i feel that bad, i dont post unless i need help.

food bounce. i gave him 5% cuz i thot it wud b ok...oh Ares, quit please. back on 2% hopefully he will go back to green by nadir.

Hi Ashleigh! I looked up Enzyme Miracle (because I am a feline nutrition nerd :bookworm:) and it looks like it has some good ingredients in it. I'm all for digestive enzymes. They're in the EZ Complete mix I use to supplement my cats' raw food, and it helps to break down the food so that it's more easily digestible and nutritionally available for cats who have GI problems and therefore nutrient absorption issues. Since Ares is a underweight and has intestinal motility issues (constipation), any help he can get in the absorption department is a good thing, even if he doesn't have EPI.

ya, so i dont know if he has any pancreas issues, it really could very well be gas causing him to sit funny. because, he will sit like that, then 2 seconds later he is running and jumping to attk his sister...lol and it doesn't happen everyday. also he has had some stinky farts for last week or 2. haha!:D:stop:
i chose that enzyme miracle cuz it had good reviews and talked about both digestion and pancreas issues. sooo, i guess in a cupl weeks i will see if any improvement.
this may sound weird, but i cud swear he is gaining weight easier in these last 2 days. he feels really heavy and thick. maybe it is the enzymes helping him to absorb!
Thanks for looking it up and ur insight Katherine:cat:

Happy to know he might be gaining some weight! Another brand of enzymes that I have used is Adored Beast Healthy Gut. It has enzymes as well as probiotics and prebiotics. Enzyme Miracle does not have probiotics but it does have some beta glucans which is a good fiber. If you're using the enzymes, I'd consider adding a probiotic as Sienne suggests. Get that gut flora in shape!

Feel better soon! :bighug:
