? 01/24 Eddie AMPS 437 +3 160 +5 128 +8 189 PMPS 290 +2 218 +3 167 +5 194

Ok, I'd appreciate some advice here. Eddie was AMPS 437 and @+3 160. I have to go out for an hour (back at +4.5) so will give him his usual LC before I go.

But what on earth is happening. I know it's probably BOUNCING but what is Eddie doing???

@FrostD @Wendy&Neko

How did you feed him last night? Just wondering if this morning was a duration issue. Also, you will note that he finally responded to 6.5 units on the sixth cycle. Today is the sixth cycle of 7.0 units....

Hi Wendy, there were no changes in his food either content or schedule. All was the same. The only wild card here is the fact he's getting Pred BiD instead of once a day; but the Pred does BiD is only 0.625mg.

Wendy mentioned duration, and I had mused about that a few days ago too. It does look a bit like bouncing, but it also reads a bit like he's losing duration. And I know you just started a new vial too.

Hmmmmm. I did start a new vial...But look at the numbers right now: we're back in the blue zone, earlier.
What does one do if the issue is, in fact, duration?

Hopefully just him settling into the dose.

And I honestly don't know, except not feeding after nadir. Change insulin? Wait him out to see if it's temporary? Do not know

You'd be fine doing a small meal before your bed time. It's easier on his pancreas (which is often fulling working in an acro), than one huge meal.

Duration issues can be caused by carbs after nadir, or just plain not the right dose yet. Too early to tell on this dose so far.

Yes, I can do that. He already gets fed 4x daily but I can portion things out, to be sure.
But here we are @+8 and still in the blue zone so many he's steadying out. Steady Eddie. :cat::)

So, @PMPS 290. I was pretty sure we'd end up in the yellow zone at PMPS after today's numbers. I'd like to think he's starting to regulate or recalibrate, somehow.

@Bandit's Mom
Hi Bhooma, just wondering what you think of where we are right now @+2 218 down from PMPS (for a change) 218. I would hazard a guess that he's levelling out, would you agree?

Wendy has suggested giving him some food before I go to bed and so I'll be starting that tonight...
