Mollys vet visit is this coming Saturday. Just a exam and poop issues. Anything I should bring up? Just a random blood test?

Refresh my memory. Is this just a wellness check. Anything else going on with Molly? Eating? Pooping? What are your concerns? I would ask for a CBC and Chemistry panel if you are doing a wellness check. No urinary problems noticed? No excess water drinking noticed? I’m just trying to see if you should add on a urinalysis? Several times I have skipped these in order to save money and I have regretted it later. It all depends on how long ago that you had this stuff done though (labs and urinalysis.)

She hasn’t had a check up for 2 years. She’s eating, peeing her pooping could be better. Some days she’ll skip a day. She plays no vomiting, still can jump on things. I do get stressed taking her, she gets stressed also. Just worry they’ll find something. But I don’t need to get a glucose? Just normal blood work?
I would like to have something for when she travels. She meows constantly. But I don’t want anything that makes her sleepy. The spray doesn’t work tried it

She sounds pretty healthy to me. But it is always good to stay on top of things. I doubt anything will be wrong, but if she has something going on you would need to know about it so you can help her. It is always nerve wracking taking them to the vet.

Also two products that I have seen mentioned lately that people have had good results with are called Anxitane and Solliquin. Those are chewable products. Both contain the amino acid L-theanine which is calming. I have used a similar product by Vetri Science but lately the chews are way too hard. The second one has some additional plant-based ingredients.

Of course, you have to get Molly to eat the chewy things. They always say they are palatable, but it depends on the cat.

I’m just trying to mention some alternatives to prescription meds here, but I don’t know how bad Molly’s anxiety is during travel. It’s possible that only an Rx will do. I see you don’t want to knock her out, which is good.

When do you next plan to travel with Molly?
